Whether ballad or bebop, the band pays homage to greats like Art Blakey, Lee Morgan, Bobby Timmons, Hank Mobley and more. Over the last four decades Wayne has performed as a bandleader and sought after sideman at numerous NYC venues such as Birdland, Smoke Jazz Club, Showman's, BB Kings, The Roxy Hotel, Village Gate, The Jazz Forum, NYU, Jazz at the Lodge, Mezzrow, Smalls, Churchill Grounds, Zinc Bar, Swing 46, Avery Fisher Hall, Maureen's Jazz Cellar, Lincoln Center, Chelsea Table & Stage, The Deer Head Inn, Jazz on Main and Uncle Cheef.
